Dodgie Dator is the man! I had an idea of what my girl wanted for an engagement ring, based on asking her questions and listening, I was able to work with Dodgie to design the exact ring she wanted. He is an artist! Dodgie provided me with a concept sketch for my idea and then I was convinced he was my designer. Dodgie provided great communication and updates. He even let me know when there was a sale happening. Then we proceeded with the ring.

After that I saw the finished product…. Mr Dator took my proposal to the next level with exactly the style that my girl described to me as her type of ring.

He is extremely professional and accommodating. Dodgie graciously spent time after time with me until I knew exactly what I wanted. He is incredibly nice to deal with as well.

The final product was insane and my fiancée loves it!!! I am going back to him for our wedding bands next! Salamat Pre

Anyone looking for an attentive, kind and hardworking employee look no further than Dodgie at Applet’s on Ness Avenue. Although he was not the person my fiancé bought my engagement ring through he has been our go-to every step of the way afterward. Whether it be for a simple ring check-up, cleaning or now most recently to assist us with picking out and receiving our wedding bands. At first I thought I may have wanted to have my band customized and so Dodgie drew up a couple of sketches that were beautiful but I wasn’t ready to pull the trigger until I came in person and tried a few on physically. When we did that I found one in-store I loved, and so did my fiancé. Dodgie is always patient, smiley and extremely quick to respond via email— even when he is off. Top quality service, overall an amazing experience! I worked with Dodgie to bring my engagement ring idea to life, and with the beautiful craftsmanship and quality, it turned out better than I imagined and my now fiancé loves it! He was extremely helpful and accommodating, and took genuine interest in my engagement which was very refreshing, and made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. The other staff here was very friendly and welcoming too, even though I didn't deal with most of them, I would've been happy to as well! Overall I highly recommend them!

I took a very sentimental ring in for repair, as the stone had fallen out. When I got it back, it was so shiny and clean, with a beautiful new stone. Unfortunately, the wrong stone was set but it looked great anyway.

I went back a second time and met with jewelry designer Dodgie Dator regarding my wedding set that had been sitting in a box for 14 years. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with them but Dodgie asked a few questions that quickly determined a ring was my best choice. He listened carefully to my preferences and made use of every single diamond in the rings I brought in. The result was a ring that I love and my children immediately said it is very "me". Dodgie GOT me, and I now flash his stunning work daily.

Went to buy a cross I had my eye on for a while, the lady that greeted us was kind but the woman named coulette I believe was supposed to help me and was very rude and had some attitude from the get go. I walked in to purchase and didn’t even want to bother after that. Maybe I’ll get it at another location. Maybe a different diamond shop. Me and my fiancé have bought things previously from here which is a shame. ** this review was for the Regent location but I was unable to leave a review for that location.
