I initially switched from CCAPP to CADEE/ACCBC because it was a local agency located in Lakewood. At that time, the agency was very responsive and I could always get through to speak to somebody. I was also given lots of support when studying for my exams. This has taken a drastic shift to an inability to get a phone call to anyone at their offices. Furthermore, their website has conflicting addresses for both Lakewood and Long Beach. My understanding was that they had moved to Long Beach however when I attempted to renew my recertification by mail, it was sent back. It was suggested by my employer that I switch agencies. I just might take that advice.

I am so frustrated with this agency! No call back, they cashed my check, I have been this since January 3, 2024. They had an old address on the application form certification it was up on the 12 of Jauary. I work for a county agency, I have to make all my services non billable. Sent application certified mail, it returned stating no existing address. They said my application is complete! Nothing!!!

It took over a year to get my recertification completed that was after sending several emails. Several phone calls with no response. Finally, my employer called them With little successive getting through. CCAPP is offering free certification, transfers and renewals I transferred over

I mailed my renewal application and it got returned to me 2 weeks later! RTS! NON-DELIVERABLE! I had been calling and emailing and NO response back! Now I have 37 days to get my certification done I had 57 days and I already paid. I'm not sure what is going on with this company and why this is happening. But their first action should be to contact everyone who has been waiting for their applications to be approved and let us know! I have no choice but to go the "other" certifying company transferring and it's free to do that for the first time if you're currently certified. And everyone else should consider this option. As well I am making a complaint with DHCS. They cannot take money and not give a product. Just absolutely terrible to play with someone's job and livelhood shame on you CAADE! And may I say counselors and CAADE is in the helping field kind of ironic. I need to hear back from CAADE ASAP!

The website says they do not accept walk-ins. The only way to "Reach" them is by phone or email. They do not return phone calls nor do they respond to emails. I have 6 days left in my certification and have met their requested deadlines. They apparently do not follow any kind of rules over there. This is perhaps the worst "service" I have ever received. They will take you money and then keep you from making money because they do not do their job. Seems fair.

They are currently the great tragedy of the treatment industry which should be known for its esteemable ethics. Hundreds of us are unable to work because of them. Centers have shut down because their employees are unable to be certified. No communication. Misleading website, misleading voicemail.

Find out who sits on their board and report then if they hold licenses of any kind.

I submitted my renewal almost 3 months in advance and still haven’t got an answer if all paper work was processed. Last year same thing happened and I lost my job during the holidays . I want my refund . They just take your money .

I followed the CATC HANDBOOK which they don't follow. I went in person to the office and no one answers the door. I am on unpaid administrative leave until I am recertified. Can't get in touch with anyone. I have reported them to better business bureau. Likely going to consult with a lawyer and pursue a lawsuit. Go to CCAPP
