Access California Services

A little disappointed the computer lab isn’t open. so learning computer skills from here is impossible. They aren’t using their computer lab. I’m trying to gain employment and asked how I could obtain a bus pass from them to look for employment. But I was told that they only have them for refugees. Because they are going to expire at the end of the year. I was able to obtain diapers for my son that was extremely helpful I’m just not sure if they really offer all the services that they claim to. Because I wasn’t able to get them to help me apply for any of their services. Just the diapers I was told that everything else has to be done in the new year. So I’m going to try to apply for assistance if I still have housing in the new year and still need help. But as of now it’s not helping my families situation. So I’m disappointed because I’m an American citizen not a refugee I keep hitting walls in getting any programs to assist. Don’t get me wrong I am all for helping people become citizens to live the American dream. It’s just a little disappointing that once you are a citizen living the dream becomes more difficult because you stop qualifying for a lot of assistance to help you get onto your feet.

Rania is a very highly knowledgable person. She filled our paperwork so well that we were approved without any interviews with USCIS. Better than any lawyer i know. Access California Services is filled with highly knowledgable and great group of people working together.

My experience with ACS has been excellent. Ms. Alia is a true asset to her team! . She was always there to answer my questions with patience and kindness . Ms .Jamila also is very kind I highly recommend them!

Very rude and arrogant staff. Judged me before I got two words out of my mouth. Refused to answer questions about elder services. Sad that they get to mistreat people as a non profit. Their website description even states their preferred "clients." Beware!
