After reading some reviews and realizing now that even some employees are disgruntled maybe I shouldn't feel so bad as a customer. There seems to be no escalation process and I wouldn't really ever post here if there was. However I was left with no choice but to post the treatment and how I feel as a customer. With the way things have went I'm feeling like this review will get ignored as well. I'm attaching the latest email I sent to the company that I have been trying to get a resolution or answer from for over a month now:

I’m guessing this is closed with no resolution. I’m asking because I travel one week per month and sometimes two weeks per month. I don’t plan to go back to the site without a resolution, no matter if it costs more somewhere else. I think peace of mind in knowing I’m booked for my travel is better than not knowing if I have travel plans. The hotel discount was great, and there were no issues, but for me, the whole flight incident will make me book with competitors for everything at this point. It just seems like my dollars don’t really matter, and honestly, my dollars probably don’t matter now that I think about it. This has truly been a frustrating experience. XXXXX, thank you for reaching out. You have been great in responding. I’m going to assume you didn’t or weren’t able to get any answers as to why my flight plans never went through.

In seeing several reviews from previous disgruntled employees, I thought I would write about the positive aspects that this job entails.

I have worked at Access for a cumulative time of just over a year now in the Member Services department. To say that this company is flexible and understanding of one's situation is an understatement. When I left the company for a short time to pursue an internship, I was lucky enough to come back to this job with open arms. Working in Member Services truly is the perfect college job. I always look forward to coming to Access because of the positive environment created by employees. I have made some great friends here and the opportunity for growth is everywhere. As someone who is studying business, it's amazing to be at a place where people are so willing to answer my questions.

Kelly, my boss, is very receptive to my concerns and has been very patient with me as I've had questions and dealt with issues in my own personal life (going back to the flexibility and understanding aspects of the culture here). I have spent much time sitting in Lisa's (the head of HR) office asking questions about a wide variety of things that she has been very gracious about answering.

The benefits here are phenomenal. Knowing that they do tuition reimbursement, it is a great help to my own academic success, and it takes much weight off the worry of having to pay for all of my education. PTO is also included and very helpful, as you're able to build up vacation time quickly. We get paid for holidays, and always have half days the day before one. There is the opportunity to build your 401K, and it feels good to get a jump start on building mine. Once a month, there is food catered and we have a company-wide town hall meeting that brings the sense of community even more. A travel credit is provided each year that can be used for a wide variety of things. I used some of mine this past weekend for a magical weekend getaway. There is also a National Parks pass provided, and remote Friday's are a thing too! The benefits go on and on.

It is very difficult to get let go of this company, and second chances and the opportunity to grow through constructive feedback is provided constantly. I could not ask for a better place to start my professional career.

My experience with Access Development has been disappointing, primarily due to the harsh treatment of employee feedback. It's disheartening to see that constructive criticism is not only ignored but often met with hostility. The company's management seems resistant to addressing concerns raised by employees, fostering an environment where open communication is stifled, and employees feel discouraged from sharing their insights for fear of repercussions. This lack of receptivity to feedback undoubtedly hampers the company's ability to adapt and improve.

Moreover, the disregard for employees' well-being is evident in the company's policy regarding two-week notices, especially during the holiday season. It is shocking to learn that Access Development dismisses employees who provide notice without pay, even during the holidays. This practice not only lacks empathy but also demonstrates a lack of respect for employees' time and dedication. Such actions are likely to erode trust and loyalty among the workforce, making it challenging for the company to retain skilled and committed employees in the long run. Additionally, reports of favoritism based on personal connections rather than merit further underscore a problematic workplace culture, diminishing morale and creating an environment of unfairness that undermines the company's overall success.

Furthermore, the company's approach to handling the COVID-19 pandemic is deeply concerning. Instead of prioritizing the health and safety of its employees, Access Development seemingly prefers having COVID-positive employees come into the office rather than allowing them to work from home. This not only poses a risk to the well-being of the entire workforce but also reflects a lack of responsibility and a failure to prioritize public health. Such decisions can have severe consequences, both for employees and the broader community, and raise serious questions about the company's commitment to its employees' safety and the ethical considerations surrounding its business practices. Prospective employees should carefully weigh these factors when considering employment with Access Development.

Update: so 2 days after I posted this, the case manager called and asked me said there was a miss communication on THEIR part. in order for them to ISSUE the REFUND, I MUST TAKE MY ORIGINAL REVIEW DOWN. I asked her if the review reflects all the information and all the experience that I have with them, she avoided answering it and asked me: "So do you want the refund or not". I said if it comes down to this a google review, and the bride me to take it off, then i won't because this is my experience working with them. So there, I spent 167$ so you have the most accurate reflection of how they do their business.

Original: If there were a negative rating. Worst service ever. Rented a car on their site. I did a name changed so the ID is with the new name and the debit car is the old name. I have no problems anywhere else because I showed the court documents, even the police doesn’t have problems. 1. Said 24/7 support, the agent doesn’t know what they were doing. Asked to talked to a supervisor, they put me on hold for 1hr and the supervisor never picked up. 2. They refused to rent me the car, and then refuse to refund me the money for not providing the service. What exactly do you do with 161.44$? Getting McDonald and eat your fat-a behind the screen? Stop scamming business to try to provide your sh-tty business to ppl

I live in Ogden and commute to SLC everyday. When I first started working here, I was only going to work for a year or two, then find something closer to home. I have been here 11 years. I have never worked at a place that truly embraces the idea of work/life balance, like they do here at Access. There's a reason why turnover is so low. Plenty of time off and benefits. Plus, they hire very well, so I just don't work with slackers. I work with adults who work hard and don't take advantage of bosses who trust you to do your work.

I called them to delete personal information that they had on me that was incorrect, my email address was attached to a name that wasn’t mine, and they continually told me to unsubscribe. I simply can’t allow companies to openly disregard solid data management.
