This is the best hardware store I've ever been in. The store was spacious, clean, and friendly, knowledgeable employees. I called ahead, checking to see if they carried what I needed. The employee was very helpful and told me what aisle I would find it.

Even though this is not locally owned all the people in there make it feel like it is. They are super nice, very informative and look at you in the eye when talking to you. They are awesome. Very well staffed and you never have to search for anybody

Was doing a project in the area and needed to stop by Ace. I was presently surprised. For a smaller store they had just about everything I needed. I had an issue with one of my items purchased and the manager couldn't have been any nicer. Exchanged the product for me no questions asked. I also asked him for a couple of items and he knew the exact aisle and area they were in without hesitation. All of the staff seemed to really enjoy their jobs and were willing to help. Great atmosphere. Will definitely stop by here whenever in the area. Also a nice assortment of ace legos

I worked retail for years and I know exactly why they are all TOO eager to help. But with these times I completely understand. I take advantage and ask questions to annoy them. The prices are a bit steep but they do have some good sales and a great posh selection of items. Given where we live, I’d rather go here and pay a bit more than have to sit in miles and miles of traffic spending even more in gas. Everything is very organized. I’m OCD on this and it makes me happy seeing all the spray can labels facing forward, inventory on pegs pushed forward. The aesthetics...etc. There is nothing more annoying than looking for a small item and there is a mess all over. Employees are great. I can easily spend a whole check and a whole day here ?

It’s convenient, but it’s more of a lawn/garden store than serious DIY place. Plus, it’s much more expensive than the ACE in my hometown. I’m seeing about a 60% markup by comparison. I guess that’s the convenience for skipping a drive to Leesburg.

Got a window screen repaired there. Mr. Squirrel ate a big hole in it, and Ace fixed it right up. It was a wee bit costive, I thought. But they did a good job.
