Our laptop died the blue screen of death and failed drive. Thought we lost all our pics/docs/files. DTec recovered all our data and moved it onto USB. Many thanks...

Service was quick and communication very efficient. Faulty component identified, replacement offered and fitted same day. Cost was reasonable and as expected.

However, the technician also told me he'd moved the fans on my CPU cooler to allow more space for the RAM sticks - fair enough. Upon collecting my PC and taking it home, the technician had not only put cooler fans on BACKWARDS, but had also bent the metal blades of my heatsink in several places. The cooler was brand new and not in this condition when I dropped it off.

I would expect more care from professionals and will likely go elsewhere in future.

Popped in because my pc was missing some panel screws and I was sending it away to another company on warranty and the lovely gentleman provided the screws free of charge. Really helpful and saved me panicking. Would definitely recommend and when my pc runs out of warranty will be using them instead, they've earned my loyalty.

Just had new ssd harddrive fitted to my 6 yr old laptop and it's fantastic now, used to take 5 mins to start up, now it takes 36 seconds. Can't thank them enough, works brilliantly and all my data transferred to new harddrive. Thanks very much Geoff and the lads. Only took a day to sort out. So quick. Thanks again. Chris.

Would recommend, had an issue with my laptop charger port and used Dtec for the repair, they are fast efficient friendly and kept me upto date on the process. I noticed on another review that someone felt they were overcharged for the service which to some degree I can understand I have had this same issue repaired once before else where and it was £25 cheaper. That said the repair previously done only lasted 12 months before I’m having to get it fixed again and I noticed on the website they do a price comparison guarantee so had the £25 been a major concern I could’ve got a quote from the other place and dtec would’ve lowered the price so I can’t exactly knock them at all ultimately you get what you pay for and provided this repair holds longer than 12 months they’ve done excellent work in quick time.
