Gelson's Manhattan Beach - Manhattan Beach, California

It's sort of like an alternative to Trader Joe's, but for more money. The staff at Trader Joe's are much nicer too. Not that the Gelson's team isn't nice. They're just nicer at Trader Joe's.

Gelson's (Manhattan Beach) is always light, bright, well stocked and customer service that is friendly and ready to help when needed. Always a great shopping experience!

Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me!!! What is it with markets trying to deceive the consumer? Bought a package of their almonds, yesterday. Didn't bother to turn the package over. The photos tell the story. A large indent in the bottom roughly 1/2 inch deep in an apparent attempt to fool the consumer into thinging that they were getting more than they thought. Shame on Gelson's!!!

Great customer service from all the staff. Special shout out for Kim who assisted me with the purchase of a lighted Christmas tree.

Dennis - Thank you kindly from both my partner & I. Come from Australia & to go from a simple hello to one of the best encounters we have ever had. Appreciate the man you are & your intent on showing us your country! World Class. Edit : Just found out you’re The Store Manager. Could only imagine the insane team growing from your leadership.

I love to shop at Gelson’s Manhattan Beach. The staff is friendly and helpful. The deli department is my favorite. I recommend the salmon in the deli.

Love visiting the wine bar for my glass or two and some delicious food. The sushi chef is fantastic and the service is always good.

Gelson's Manhattan Beach is nothing short of awesome. They have a great selection of all kinds of produce, bread, wine, liquor, and beer. Their deli is amazing. It has a great bar to sit and watch the game. A cool bakery and a Wolgang Pucks The best part is their service. Always ready to help find anything you need, and they open registers immediately to take care of any line that has two people in it. Highly recommend!!
