I tried this place because a few of my family memebers said i needed to try it. *So maybe my visit is just a one off* I ordered 2 torta plates @ 12.99, equalling 25.98 plus the tax 2.23 = 28.21 ...why was I charged 29.25. I told the guy at the counter. His response was like ya I don't know. I proceeded to whip the calculator out and explain, to which he was like ya I don't know. Anyway I wasn't refunded the difference. Now to the food, the plate says it comes with seasoned fries, it was just SALTY fries. The torta was okay but I'll just go to Pepe's next time for my tortas. Maybe I'll give them another go with a different plate but only if someone else is paying. Also the prices and photos listed from previous months are incorrect they've gone up..see pics

Ordered food from the counter in back. Cute little store. Reasonable prices and good selection. I ordered catfish plate. Cooked fresh. Seasoned well. I’m suspicious that the fish was swai, not catfish but other than that, was good. I would return, and try ordering something else from the menu.

My last review for this place with the old owners were really terrible. The last owners did not really care with the expired shelf food and the rat droppings. With these new owners is quite different they put a lot of money into this place. They keep it clean as far as I can see. They have changed a lot of things around, even added an adequate kitchen in the back. But The food sucks though, its tasteless and it's overpriced. I should not pay $9 for a chicken burger with no fries and no drink. It's called Daisy's The prices change according to who's at the register. They add no seasoning to their foods not even their tacos and Mexican food. Daisy's was okay at first until people stopped coming because it's overpriced with no seasoning and then when you tell them to put seasoning on the food they have a little attitude about it. They actually get offended by that but I should be offended because I was sold tasteless food. The family that owns the eatery are really good people but they dropped the ball. Cutting cost with this eatery was their downfall.

Jerry's market on .Jefferson. In Oak Cliff. Staff is very unfriendly. Store smells, very cluttered. Buy no food here. Buy only beer and cigarettes. Food no look fresh

It was so much pepper and hard to rip off the bone . I will shop for other things ,but food will not be one of them. I didn’t eat none of it & the cook knew when they served it they was robbing me cause this pork chop basket is unacceptable ?

Jerry's Market is a small Neighborhood Store. Customers are locals, parking lot is always full. Coffee served at front counters.Cigarettes are cheap and I am always in a hurry when I go. I'm dying to walk around inside and check out what all they have !!!
