It was alright. Figured I'd try there before a certain other well-known place that likes to take over empty business spots. Was there for a little while seeking certain Halloween items. They had a section to the left of the door with some pretty obvious stuff. After some minutes I wandered around the store a bit more to the other side and found more specific costumes and accessories.

I eventually found what I wanted but was a little surprised that no one asked if I needed help finding anything. When the items were rung up on the till I was almost also charged $5 extra for one thing, I had to point it out to the staff who then took the sticker down from it (to most likely change/update it). I'm glad I noticed the prices before going to pay. Everything seems to be good quality and there was a large selection at least.

I had a situation where an employee gave me the wrong information about the return policy for Halloween Costumes. When I initially tried to return my item, I was told at the store that I could not. When I contacted the manager through email, not only did she make the situation right, but she gave me a gift card for my trouble. Mistakes happen but a business who cares for their customers in this way has definitely earned my business long-term. Thank you, Taylor for being awesome!

The lower prices match the quality. But for a one night costume it's not so bad. I had a hard time finding a staff member so I could get help finding what I was looking for though.

I visited Party Stuff / U-Rent-It in December 2018 when I was looking for some last-minute costume accessories. I had no idea this place existed until I googled it. The location isn’t very far from the Lee Valley Store and La-Z-Boy in St. James. The Party Stuff store had lots of accessories for costume whether you’re dressing up as a mobster, pirate, police officer, etc. They also have lots of party supplies if you’re planning something for a bachelorette, New Year’s celebration, child’s birthday party, etc. Their supplies can be pretty expensive for what you get, but if you need something for a costume in a pinch, this is a good local place to go.

Love this place. We got all our social stuff here and best part was whatever we didn't use as long as it's sealed we where able to bring back and get our money back

We rented most of the decor and dishes for our wedding from here. It was beautiful, convenient (not having to buy/resell), and served its purpose.

It wasn't a great experience end to end with party stuff. There was lack of clarity on their part - prices were more expensive on the invoice than the website, return information was not shared with us, and customer service offered very little when seeking some resolve. However, someone reached out after the fact to help us out and we were able to resolve some issues. I really appreciated the time taken to smooth things over. It gave me confidence that perhaps, if we choose to return, our next experience will be more positive.

Prices on website are inaccurate. Customer service was dreadful at both the rental area and the main party stuff store. Left us high and dry for our wedding and never even apologized. Recommend you choose somewhere more reliable, it’ll be worth it not to have to deal with these clowns

Edit: Party stuff has been in contact to apologize, which I appreciate. Upgraded from 2 to 3 stars. Wish they would fix the underlying issues, but you get what you pay for I suppose.
