If I could give Sal-O-Mon 10 ?, I would.
I have lived in NB 4 years, I've driven by this restaurant multiple times. Yesterday was our first visit, and, WOW!! The owner and staff greeted us with smiling faces. The guacamole was "no frills" delicious. With it being my first time eating here, I asked the owner for recommendations of an entree and wine. He did not disappoint!! Mu guy had the filet mignon fajitas and found them very tasty. I love the vibe, the music, everything about this establishment is my kinda place!!

This was the most authentic Mexican food I have ever had. This place is absolutely inviting and incredible. The food is amazing. The flavors are genuinely outstanding. The food will make you full but not groggy. I love it and will be returning more. Cannot forget about baby Camilla, the puppy, she is so sweet and loving which makes the atmosphere more welcoming. Love love love

This place was given a 4.6 rating why I stopped by. Well after eating here the portions are small plates are chipped and food was not all that. I will never go here no would I recommend this place. They may need to update menu and price. I have to small slices of avocado for 2.50, was not even a quarter size of an avocado. This is just an example. Stop by try it and rate it. Just being truthful!

If your wanting a true food experience, this is a place to go. This is not TexMex this is true Mexican food from deep south Mexico.
Margaritad were spot on not to bitter or sweet, light and refreshing.
The owner is so personable and greeted us after we sat, recommending off the menu option. Food was absolutely fantastic and nothing to spare cause we ate it all.

i have come here a handful of times and truly have only eaten one dish. corn on the chicken with chipotle salsa and avocado salsa. it’s literally perfect. i recently have been ordering it on the phone and picking it up to eat at home but it’s literally so good regardless. the owner and staff are so friendly and treat you like family. the prices aren’t bad at all. i often think about asking for the recipe for this dish so i can make it for my friends at college. i will forever come to sal-o-mon as long as i can to indulge in the absolutely delicious food!!!!!

I ordered Corn on the Cow...WOW, awesome. I had it with cilantro and avocado salsa, so yummy. Avocado salsa got a little kick to it and great flavor. So recommend, nice environment and your money goes a long way.

The food is authentic and flavorful.
So well prepared with care and pride. Service is first class. The staff is very accommodating to make sure you are comfortable and well taken care of. I visited several times before writing a review to make sure service and food was consistently great. I enjoyed the at home atmosphere. Especially like the Sol O Mon taco, ribeye taco, enchiladas, tres leches and lemonade! The rice, although a side, is fluffy and flavorful. A little pricey compared to others but the quality surpasses the others. This is our new go to spot twice a month and love it!

Can’t ask more for a good place. Honestly I was passing by and this was my first option for a non-fast food place. I’m really surprised, flavor is outstanding, service amazing, very friendly and for a reason there is the word FAMILY on its name. I will definitely come back even if it is out of my route. I will give 6 stars if I could
