Absolutely fantastic meal! Feel like I got to take a trip to Panama. Every bite was bursting with flavor. Beautiful atmosphere as well. Went with a group of five and we were glad to be able to try many menu items.

This place is vivid, pretty, and delicious!!
All of the dishes and drinks we ordered are amazing. The have two indoor sitting areas and an outdoor patio, plus a bar. All are super cute with great designs. I love it here.
The crowd is also lovely.

Our friend brought us here during our LA stop on our road trip and this place did not disappoint. The food was delicious and flavor profiles were obviously very well thought out. It was an eye-opening experience for South American flavors.

Servers were attentive and very good at making suggestions.

The only caveat to this place is the pricing relative to volume. While nothing is absurdly expensive on the menu. The portions are definitely small even for fine dining standards. We spent a bit over $100 per person and left a restaurant still feeling like we need to grab some street tacos. Some of the portioning was also awkward for a group of 5 with no option to just “add a piece” instead the server recommended we make two “full orders” which was still not quite enough food.

Overall great experience but not really a place that leaves you fully satisfied.

Best items: kanpachi ceviche and corn ceviche (the best ceviches I've ever had!); Kanpachi on banana leaf (incredible seasoning); coconut rice; crispy pork belly (mint leaves was a surprisingly good combo); coconut flan dessert; cacao yogurt dessert.

Wouldn't get again: shrimp dumplings (crazy overpriced); tuna carpaccio yuca tostada; fried chicken; sweet corn bollo; shaved ice dessert.

Good service and the food came out quickly. The presentation of the food is phenomenal.

Couple quality of life things that could be improved: allow guests to be seated without full party; allow more than 2 credit cards to be used to pay for larger parties.

Subjectively, the overall experience didn't leave a huge impression on me and I don't think it deserves its current 4.8 rating. For $90, I didn't leave with as full of a stomach as I would have liked; price to food quantity ratio is really high.

Highly recommend!! Family-style Latin fusion with unique flavors and great cocktails. My favorite dishes were the tuna carpaccio yuca tostada and the carne en palito. The tostada comes with four pieces, but I kept forgetting to take photos before we started eating because the food was so good. We also got the little neck clam & uni shooter, the Afro-Caribbean shrimp dumplings, kanpachi ceviche, and fried chicken drumsticks. The shrimp dumplings might have been a bit underdone but the flavor was delicious. I wasn't the biggest fan of the fried chicken, but that's typically not my thing.

Atmosphere is really nice -- I would try to get a spot on the patio if it's nice out. They have an open ceiling, a lot of greenery, and it's generally a beautiful space. Service was great too!

Located just off the Venice beach, Si¡ Mon is a LatAm Caribbean Calif restaurant that serves some innovative delicious dishes. The indoor outdoor restaurant is beautifully decorated, which fits the Venice vibe. Memorable dishes include uni shooter (must!), tuna carpaccio tostada, shrimp dumplings, and surf clam ceviche. (yes, seafood centric) Friendly, casual, and attentive staff. Expect to spend $100++pp if you want a full meal with a variety of dishes plus a cocktail or two.

We had dinner reservations at 6:00 pm
We got there, the hostess was very friendly and pleasant. We got our table and the waitstaff was very nice and friendly. We ordered a variety of plates, and I can not tell you which one was my favorite because they were all! We had the tuna tostada which was delicious. We tried coconut rice, tuna tostadas, fried chicken, pork belly, baked oysters, marinated apples and pears, all the food was delicious. Drinks were amazing too
Highly recommended when you visit the Los Angeles area. This establishment reserved a 6 stars GREAT PLACE
