It was a fantastic, fairly enjoyable surplus store; at first, I wasn't expecting much, just a bunch of old items no one would find interesting unless you had first hand experience with it, but oh no, be it a smaller location compared to most I've seen. This was a treasure trove, a museum enthusiast paradise, a place where you could actually purchase pieces of history, get to hold, and keep what you want, not have to save it in memories after visiting a museum. Wanna have a personal museum built in your own home, stop on by, they have many things you could get, authenticate as well.

I love this store and the guys that work here didn’t treat me any different since I’m a female. Hubby and I drive from an hour away to dump off our old military gear. Honestly I didn’t expect payment. If we weren’t moving I would’ve taken the store credit! It’s a small store but everything is clean and easy to find. There were a lot of things I hadnt seen since I was young because my father also served in Vietnam. Anyway, I love the variety of items, cleanliness of the store, and the service. They deserve five stars all the way.

Great military surplus shop. Always friendly staff that is super knowledgeable about their products. I come here to restock on camping supplies and peruse their military surplus gear. Prices are fair and they have an excellent selection. Been visiting here for YEARS for good reason.

They have good stuff, a good selection, but some of the staff is rude. I had an employee with me showing me the MREs and I stuck my hand in the open box to see the packages and someone from behind the counter yelled at me. She then made it a point to count all of them right there on the counter to make sure I didn’t steal anything. There was an employee standing right there watching me do it. They also do not provide a military discount to veterans.

I've been going to this location since I was in high school back in the mid 2000's for a multitude of needs.

Recently, I made a visit to SLO Camp N Pack because I needed a waterproof field notebook for my Marine biology class at Cuesta College.

I was not disappointed. My Rite-In-The-Rain field notebook has survived a kayak trip in Morro Bay, a visit to the Cal Poly Pier and many visits to my printers scanner.

Love this place, I just browse about once a month. I have purchased boots, sleeping bags, camp stoves, fuel, stickers, rope, etc. from this place. Great prices, wonderful staff! Can't say enough great about this place! Lots of military surplus, and lots of new, top of the line gear also.
