Very rude member of staff in Carlisle branch today. She didn’t seem like she wanted any work to do. I had three designer watches which needed the batteries replaced. She said she couldn’t replace the Armani one as the glass had a small crack and she thought the battery would have leaked and the glass would break if she worked on it. She was very offhand and when I tried to ask a question she said if you will just let me finish. I went elsewhere and got excellent service. The glass didn’t shatter and the battery hadn’t leaked. I also got my other two watch batteries replaced too. A lot of money to lose because a member of staff needs a
refresher course in customer service.
I went to Timpsons just round the corner.

He's all was helped dad with the watch I go him a few or more then a few Christmas ago. Because we have never really figured out how to Chang it when the clock go back and forth or even with batters or fixing it. He is really helpful and friendly when we have going in and ask. So I would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone with a watch.

I Think it's Changed for the Worse

Used this place for many years with excellent service. Back today to find it is Timpson's. Very off hand service. First thing the guy tried was to sell me a lifetime battery replacement for my watch. Last time I went (before covid) a replacement battery was a tenner. Today I was charged £17.95

My Mrs took a watch in for me today for a battery I have already had one done in timpsons and they garenteed the lifetime renewal so she asked about it to the small looking fella who served her he replied no we don't and no one does as watches only last 3 years max , I'm not sure what rubbish your buying pal but this is a 1200 pound watch his knowledge and customer service were horrendous he advised we shop around and come back when we can't find what we are looking for so we went to timpsons round the corner and they supplied the lifetime we asked for with no fuss for nearly the same price as his standard one I won't be using these people again and suggest they get better trained staff please feel free to reply with an apology
