Received a Tissot watch as a gift several years ago but it was hardly ever worn and has always been in its original box. Recently, took it out and noticed the leather band was degraded and seems to have some problem with the hands. I then decided to get it fixed at the official service centre as I never trust outside dealers and services. Prior to sending in my watch, I did some research and consulted with the Tissot rep and was erroneously given by the rep, a previous year's service price guide - - which impacted my decision to get my watch serviced. I was not aware of the new service price until the watch has been sent off and cost estimate released. The price difference was over a hundred dollars. I debated on whether to decline service but was told that I will need to pay for the return shipping if I do not want to proceed with the service so I ended up agreeing to the service at the updated price ($300+).

Asides from the frustrations with the price changes, there were multiple problems with the service.
1. An extra $20 was charged on the total. It took multiple communications and follow up to remove that unknown charge and no reason provided on why this amount was charged.
2. The service notes on the condition that they receive the watch in are templated and not really according to the actual condition of the watch they have received.
It wasn’t a big problem to me at first until after the service, I noticed how there were light scratches here and there (likely due to the clamp or equipment used when they take apart the watch for servicing). Very unprofessional for a luxury watch servicing centre.
3. After accepting the estimate cost, the service began days later and when the estimated completion date has passed, there were with no updates. It took again, several more communications to find out that the service was delayed and a new estimate completion was finally given.
4. The watch was fixed and send back to me after a month but I noticed there was a problem and had it send back again for re-inspection. They claimed that there was nothing wrong and send it back to me really quickly.
5. After getting the watch back, I noticed there are more cosmetic problems. It seems like each time they service / inspect a watch, more damages will be added on to the watch. As a luxury brand, this is really unacceptable. I have had watches from other brands like Omega and Citizen for servicing and their specialists were gentle and careful when performing services / inspection.

I tried to connect with the rep for a second time and now it's been a week but still no response.

All in all, this $300+ service is indeed not worth the cost and through this experience I will not be getting anymore watches from Tissot nor have them serviced at this centre again.

As a Luxury watch brand and at their own authorized service centre, I had a high expectation on the repair service of my Tissot watch.

Unfortunately, the service performed does not seem to be worth the cost. Watch repair seems to be done by amateurs and ended up scratching / denting my watch. I would not recommend paying a premium to receive the same service as some 3rd party service.

Bought my first $1500 Tissot watch from The Bay. 4-months later it stopped working and I was told The Bay can't fix it. Had to send it to Tissot repair. They fixed it for me, but they returned my watch back to me damaged. The outer gold shell/casing had dents in the metal, probably when they clamped it to do repair work or open up the back. Very unprofessional and the last time in my life I buy a Tissot or any of their sister watch companies.

I wish I had an option for zero -1. Guys don’t buy watch from this company their service and response was awful. I sent my package two weeks ago and still I dint get any response, when I call they don’t respond to my calls and mails.
I had many brands but this one was sucks. Thank god I was about to buy another one and I changed my mind. If you don’t live near by any Tissot service center then don’t dare to buy… please avoid this brand at any cost I’m going to complaint to consumer board.

I called the Tissot Authorized Service Centre for assistance with replacement of the crown of my Tissot watch.

The lady Lauren was pleasant and extremely helpful. She sent a prepaid FedEx Box for me to send my watch to their Service Centre.

She said that they will give an estimate for repair within 5 working days.

All in all, prompt and efficient service.

This place is a bad joke, avoid. I left my tissot watch with these scam artists 2 weeks ago, I just wanted to replace batteries. They made me wait 2 weeks and gave me a quote of 260 dollars after 2 weeks. Of course, I refused to give them 260 dollars, same day I went to Canadian watch imports on spadina, paid 25 dollars and it was done in 15 minutes. The watch works just fine.
