I got the curry chicken with rice and beans, cabbage, plantains, and jalapeno mac and cheese. Everything was seasoned perfectly and very tasty. I will be back.

The Jerk Tilapia with rice & peas and fried plantain was simply delicious. It was beyond satisfying. The potions are so generous, and the food is extremely sumptuous. The staff are super amazing, and the ambiance is so calm. I love the place, the staff, and the food. I'll always be back.

This place is awesome, the owners are husband and wife and they are amazing come support them. Their food is awesome it is amazing they will make food for parties and different events. I had that oxtail today and it was awesome they're jalapeno mac and cheese is great, their curry chicken is great their Curry gold is good their jerk salmon is good and their jerk chicken is awesome. Definitely have to come out and see them and enjoy some food. It is a eat-in or you can take it out they do have doordash as well. But you definitely have to check out this spot

First time here. Hands down one of the best Jamaican restaurants in the Atlanta Metro Area. Customer service was warm and inviting. Everything was prepared fresh. The Shrimp Jerk lunch with red beans/rice and potatoes...chef's kiss!

It was delicious and cheap. I had an oxtail dinner with rice and peas and steamed cabbage. My boyfriend had a curry chicken dinner with rice and peas and steamed cabbage. It was fast, affordable, and delicious. The staff was friendly and I will be back ❤️

I’m from a Jamaican background this food is not authentic. I ordered the dirt chicken. It’s not even off the grill and the white meat was dry. Very unsatisfied. On the other hand, the lady at the front area was very nice and polite, but the lady that was bringing up the food from the background she appeared to be Chinese or Mexican. I am not racist, but if that’s who’s cooking their food, they can’t possibly be authentic.

Read great reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered online, and it was ready when I came to pick up. The restaurant looks very clean on the inside, and the staff was very friendly. I ordered the Oxtail dinner with the jalapeno Mac and cheese and plantains. The Oxtail was very tender, juicy, and had amazing flavor. The jalapeno Mac and cheese had just the right amount of kick, and was SO good. Plantains were also great. Great portion sizes on everything. This was first time ever trying Jamaican food, and I fear after how good the food here was that it's spoiled me. Every time I have Jamaican food now I will compare it to Ya Mon. Highly recommend eating here, and I'd give it a 10/10.

Simple, unpretentious, fresh, well-seasoned and authentic Jamaican home-cooking. Delicious.
We tried the following:
Goat Curry: melt in your mouth, fresh, slow-cooked goat with not a hint of gaminess. You will think it’s a tender beef or veal. Well balanced seasoning with a touch of heat. Lunch portion for lunch was ample and honestly I couldn’t finish it. For $9.99, what a deal!
Red Snapper Escovitch: Although we were there at lunch, my wife wanted this dinner and it did NOT disappoint. She choose the whole fish option, but they will also filet it for you. The seasoning was superb with quite a bite of heat (ordered spicy). The delicate white fish meat melted in our mouths.
Sides: All 4 of our sides were incredibly delicious:
Plantains: lightly Sweet, soft, slight acidity... just perfection. If you like plantains, try these!
Steamed Cabbage: Seasoned with their Caribbean seasonings, this was the most flavorful cabbage we have had in years. Delicious, soft and addicting.
Rice and Red Beans: Perfect compliment to my curry dish.
Skillet Potatoes: Not sure what the seasoning was, but these were savory, somewhat too soft, but super delicious.
Service was friendly and prompt. The friendly gal said the Red Snapper would take 20 minutes and it was ready in 19 minutes! Great job.
This place must be a hidden gem and local secret.
